| Why is it that.... | | Everytime i go to buy clothes i end up buying something that is either black or white in color. I noticed today that i wear black pants, black shoes, black shirt, black undershirt, black eyeliner and mascara and i have a Black Purse with a black wallet and a black makeup bag! I am not gothic or anything but it just seems weird that that is the majority of my clothes is black and white!!!! | |
| | Is Stealing Ever Justifiable? | | Here's the deal... I work as a bagger at a local grocery store. About 5:00, the busiest time of day, I overheard the manager telling a front-end supervisor to be on the lookout for a missing or stolen black purse. While pushing a shopping cart out for a customer, I saw the manager consoling the purseless lady, who had quite a few things if not a purse-- nearly all her accessories were Coach. About 8:00, the after-work rush is totally over and everything is quiet, and since there were no huge orders I went to bag for the express lanes. Actually, 'the express lane' doesn't mean anything; no one knows it's an express lane so people come through with as many as two shopping carts full of stuff. Anyway, this sad little man came through, and underneath all the stuff in his cart was a designer black purse. Not Coach, but still designer (Dooney and Burke, I think?). The man was wearing a suit and tie but had dingy hair, so I suspect he may have been homeless because many of the homeless shelters in our area give out suits to their patrons. Anyway, I finished bagging for this quiet, sad little man, and left him to pay while I went to Guest Services. I asked if the black purse had... | |
