myLot Discussions on Body Parts| women's clothes and body parts | | we're all free to do what we want but sometimes we don't know if others view us as having the right to even wear what we want. take the (shallow[em]happy[/em][em]wink[/em]) case of dressing.a) tank tops or any sleeveless top - some women just have dark underarms that only a husband (who cannot take her back) should see. on the other hand some arms are so flabby that you'd just wish the wearer just opted for an all cotton shirt for the same ease and comfort. racial issues aside, am asian, but only caucasians with naturally blond or red hair have skin so light (that extends from the underarms to the skin at the side of the breasts) look good in sleeveles tops. brunettes (even if they are caucasians) and all races have darker skin in that area no matter how white their underarms are. see photos of celebs that have dark hair and you'd see what i mean if you compare their skin on this part to that of natural blonds and redheads. that's the reason for their poses. am not saying don't wear sleeveless tops if you have dark hair. am only saying something that many people are not aware of and can't pinpoint why others look darn good in...
| | What kind of value would you put to your body parts and I don't mean the extras! | | For some who do not know, there are countries out there where it is common to give up an organ for money. Not only that, but people are willing sometimes to go to the extreme to make money, if not giving up an organ. So the question is, what kind of value would you put to your organs, your limbs, or even your digits (like your toes and fingers)? If a person offered to give you ten thousand dollars for all the toes on one foot, would you do it? Would it matter if it was an organ you didn't really need, or one that regenerated itself? | |

| | why women show their body parts | | Ialaways ask myself this question, why women wear clothes that show thier body parts?for example,legs,chest...etc.
Men do not wear tight clothes and do not wear clothes that shows thier body, why?
do women wear those clothes to attract men?don't they feel shame of themselves?s part to that of natural blonds and redheads. that's the reason for their poses. am not saying don't wear sleeveless tops if you have dark hair. am only saying something that many people are not aware of and can't pinpoint why others look darn good in sleeveless tops than they do. again, it is the skin's tendency to darken in this area am talking about and not any presence of any hair.b) tight fitting jeans - if you plan to wear tight jeans there should be no bulges on your body even if you are naked. know your body type and stick to jeans that work for you. you'd look better. and don't forget that tunic shirts look better on almost everyone since not all are gifted with good butts and shouldn't be all out there in a jeans' glory to be a distressing surprise to everyone who would see. c) short skirts or shorts - ever been aware that all women are cellulite...

| | Growing Body Parts | | I seen this on 60 minutes where they are using the stem cell research to help heal and possible mend amputees and various other parts of the body for organ transplants. They have said many have already benefited from this procedure. I feel this may be good sign for those who truly can benefit from this and like the idea that they are putting the stem cell research to use.
I also have mixed emotions to where there is always the one bad apple in the mix who can try to go farther and harm this research.
What is your take on this stem cell, growing body parts?
| | | Brain chip implants can help amputated people to have moving body parts | | that can be attached to their missing body parts. Yes, the person with brain chip implants can actually use his brain to control this some sort of metallic body parts that can be attached to the body. But as to how they will develop implement this to humans is still not knows as this was tested on monkeys. the monkey was able to move the machine by his thoughts. it was amazing. Do you think this advancement is more a positive one than a negative. Will this development will bring us into robotic age or some sort of invention that we will be sorry in the end for having it. | |
| | body parts that we dont need anymore! | | just a useless few facts that you may not be aware ofheres a few actual body parts that we all have but we dont use since we have evolved.Plica semilunaris
You may not know it, but you have a third eyelid. Pull open the two more noticeable eyelids and take a look—it's located right in the corner by the tear duct. This small third eyelid is left over from what's known as a "nictitating membrane," which is still present in full form in some animals including chickens, lizards and sharks but not in us humans.Adenoids
Adenoids trap bacteria, but they're also prone to swelling and infection. Just ask any seven-year-old. Luckily, our adenoids shrink with age and are often removed, along with your tonsils.Arrector pili
When we were hairier as an ape etc etc, the arrector pili made the hairs stand on end when we needed to appear bigger and scarier. Now, it just gives us goose bumps ever wondered why your hairs stand up when your scared or excited well now you know lol.Wisdom teeth

| | Will you donate your body parts after you die... | | Just today I came across this news in the newspaper that a 55 year old person before dying donated his body parts such as kidney, liver etc that helped 6 patients to get cured as they all had some kind of failures.
I am so proud to have this kinda people in this world till now...in this age of self-centerdness.
I have decided to donate my body parts so that I can help people even after I die..
Will you do the same??bumps ever wondered why your hairs stand up when your scared or excited well now you know lol.Wisdom teeth
Back in the day, when we ate mammoth meat off the bone and didn't floss afterward, our teeth tended to fall out. Therefore, when those reserve molars, aka "wisdom teeth," came in, they were welcomed. Nowadays, fluoride and dental plans have just made them a huge pain.Appendix
Darwin claimed the appendix was useful for digestion during our early plant-eating years; it's dwindled down to little since we started eating more digestible foods.
