When my daughter makes her's she melts peanut butter and mixes it with the flavor packet, adds the noodles with no water but she uses a small amount of milk, mixes that all up and eats. | | Ramen Noodles | | Do you eat them? Have you even heard of them?Ramen Noodles have never been a favorite of mine. I chalk it up to having had them too much when I was a kid. They're extremely cheap, even in today's economy you can get about a dozen packages of Ramen Noodles for only $2. My family loves Ramen Noodles though. I always keep them in the house. My husband will make them for lunch for him and the kids. He has also begun bringing them to work for lunch. I just bought myself some Shrimp flavored Ramen Noodles, hoping a change in flavoring would get me to like them a little more. I thought I'd like them because I like the Shrimp flavored Instant Lunch, which is basically Ramen Noodles with some veggies and small bits of meat. Honestly, I don't like the Shrimp flavor. I'd rather have Chicken flavor! What flavor Ramen Noodle do you prefer? | |

But they do leave much lacking.Sometimes, when I buy the spice blends in the store,
I find that they have too much of one particular spice.I wish that I could make my own spice blends for use

get in the package of Ramen noodles.(It comes in a silver enclosed packet)I love using the chicken flavor over pork chops
cause they have a hint of lime.Once, I used a teaspoon of burrito seasoning as a rub for my
chicken. I got so many compliments on my baked

| | Great Cat Food | | I just wanted all you cat lovers to know about a fairly new wet cat food on the market that my cat and I think is wonderful. I like it because it looks good enough for human consumption, and the Paw Lickin' Chicken flavor contains (amoung other ingredients) the B vitamins, vitamin E supplement, and no by-products. My cat absolutely loves the Tuna with Vegetables (this one has peas, potatoe and tomato in it), but I don't want to feed him too much fish because it is said that fish isn't good for male cats. I'm very happy that the company "Weruva" just came out with the Paw Lickin' Chicken because before that, all they had on the market was a wide varienty of fish flavors that I'm sure are all very tasty to a cat but, again, too much fish may not be healthy for males. My cat loves this brand of cat food, and I'm content with this brand because it seems to be a healthier choice than most of the other canned cat foods out there. Just thought I'd share this information with you. I love my cat, and I consider a healthy diet for a cat, other animals, and us humans very important. | |
| | When you don't feel like cooking, but you have to feed 4 kids | | What do you make? Do you look for the frozen pizza, or grab the box of mac and cheese? For me ordering pizza actually involves loading all the kids up and going to pick it up, so it is more work than it is worth. So my idea for dinner tonight was to grab a couple of boxes of Rice-A-Roni, garlic chicken flavor. Cook that up and take the leftover chicken out of the fridge, dice it up, and put it on top of the rice-a-roni, and have a side of green beans. Not a really great dinner, but it will work. So what do you do for a quick fix? | |
| | kitty heaven | | One year ago my cat Eileen died. She is the cat that is my avatar. This is what I hope kitty heaven is like for her. Yes, I know some may not believe cats go to heaven. But it comforts me to imagine this.There will be a big waterbed. She loved to lie on our waterbed. It was heated, and she loved warm places. Sometimes I would find her just rolling around on the bed, enjoying the way it moved. The bed will have lots of soft blankets so she can make a nest.My baby was always scared of people she didn't know. Friends would come to my house and never even see her. She would hide the whole time they were there. In Kitty Heaven, I hope she's not scared. I hope there are people there that she can love. I hope there are people to snuggle up with her in bed. She loved to snuggle under the covers. She would purr and purr. She would be so happy she would actually drool on my pillow. I hope she can be that happy in Kitty Heaven.I hope there is another cat there that she can be buddies with.
