| pitbulls | | Again Pitbull dogs are forming packs and attacking farm animals. When I hear this I feel nothing but sad, I know that we would have to shoot them if they came near our animals, but my sadness is due to the fact that humans are responsible for these poor Dogs running wild. Man made this breed to suit his fancy, man has raised these dogs and for whatever reason has not proved to be a responsible master. So now the rest of us have to solve this problem and the poor dogs must pay the price.
There is something so unfair about this, it makes me cry. | |
| | So much fun at the dog park | | Me and my daughters had a blast and we do not even have a dog! It started out with just a couple pairs of dogs and by the time we left, two hours later, there was like 20 big dogs (2 great dane! 6 huskies might I add). I just love huskies and I think they are so incredibly intelligent so I was just having so much fun watching them and it was like they were in charge of ordering the 'pack'. The coolest part was that with all these big dogs running after each other everywhere in this fenced in 'dog park' not one time did they knock over my 3 or 5 year old. There was more barking with less dogs then with the 20 of them! I had so much fun now were heading off to Philly and going to visit a city dog park I have been meaning to bring my kids to. Enough thing that I thought was interesting...the smaller dogs were less outgoing then the big dogs but I understand the dog kind of takes on the personality of its owners. | |

| What kind of relationship do you keep with your animal? | | It has become fashionable to raise pets at home. Right now, you can see there are many pet dogs running in the streets or in the squares following their masters. And most of them are so lovely and beautiful that they attract lots of people's attention. Some of them even wear clothes and are washed very clean. Some people who own pet dogs or pet cats raise the animals in the family not only because they are lovely but also because some of them regard them as a member of their own families. For me, although i like them very much but i am a little afraid of their dirtiness. So i don't ususally touch them. What do you think? And what kind of relationship do you keep with your animals? | |
| | You HIT,RUN fast OR SLOW down your vehicle, when DOGS run after & BARK? | | Going in a car, when ever I find dogs running after and barking,it irritates a lot and once as they scratched at the back of car,I delebrately skewed car towards them to intimidiate and hit them,but as dogs are dogs,they stoped for a while and started again.Now I tend not to feel disturbed by them and keep driving on my own mood!How do you react to such circumstances,where ever you meet this situation? | |

| brain freeze HELP | | i have dogs running all over here! i hate it no one knows how to take care of their animals and it drives me nuts. i have 3 small kids and dogs running all over dumping my garbage can and making a mess for us to clean up. i don't trust a dog i don't know and am afraid to let my kids outside. i have decided to call and try to get it takin care of i hope but one problem who do i call? what do i look under in the phone book? just one of those days and i can't seem to think. | |
| | We had sun all day today. | | We had sun all day today and I decided to take the dogs for a walk.
I wanted to take them some where that I could let them off their leashes and let them run and they would be safe.
My husband was going out to his family's farm that he takes care of so Petie my pillion and Daisy May my rat terrier and I went along. My husband let us off down the ditch bank off the main road so we could walk to the house. I was able to let the dogs off their leashes and let them run. There dogs where safe because we where between two fields and way off the busy street. I walked 1 1/8 mile back to the house, I think my dogs ran 3 or 4 miles back to the house. I enjoyed seeing Petie run through the fields seeing his white hair flow in the breeze. Daisy May would follow Petie for a while and when Petie would get to far from me she would come running back Daisy will not get to far from her mama. Petie loves chasing the little brown birds and the doves. There was a flock of doves it looked like there was about 50 of them. They where the gray doves with the ring necks. Petie is not fast enough to catch the birds but he had fun chasing them.

| I hate stray dogs | | Right now there are two dogs running wround my property and under my house. They are chasing after one of my cats. these dogs have no collars. When I go outside they bark and growl at me. I should not have to feel afraid to leave my house or venture onto my own property. My poor cat should not have to worry about being bitten on our property. My poor cat is up in a tree right now. I couldn't get close enough to see if he was okay but his hind quarters looked pretty wet.I wish I could do something to get these stupid dogs off my property. I called Animal Control and they said they would send someone but we have been down that road before and no one ever showed up.They want me to catch the dogs and pin them up until they get here. I said, are you crazy. I don't know these dogs and they scare me. there is no way I am going to try to catch them. I would get my arm bit off.I am just pissed off right now because I can't get them off my property and I can't get to my cat to see if he is okay. I jsut had to vent a little. I think Animal Control should take stray dogs more seriously. I mean these dogs could hurt me, my family and yes my cats. I should not have to be... | |
| | naughty dogs!!!! | | We used to have our sofa set in the veranda since it takes lot of space if kept inside the room.For some time every morning i noticed the sofa cover had been messed up and no reason was available for this happening.But one day i happen to see when i opened the door two dogs running away from the veranda after seeing me.These dogs are not only intelligent but also cunning in cheating the people.Now i lay a plank on the sofa inorder to keep these dogs away...the sofa being occupied by these creatures.Have you happen to experiance any such incidents by outside dogs? | |

| Sick Of Neighbors Letting Their Dogs Run Free! | | I live in an apartment complex. I have a corgi mix and she's very high energy, so she needs to go on frequent walks throughout the day.A handful of the neighbors who live in the complex have large dogs that they let run free outside during the day. And I'm starting to get pretty annoyed by it. My dog is great with other dogs, unless she's on a leash and the other dog is running loose. If she's on a leash, and an off leash dogs approaches her, she growls and tries to bite the dog out of absolute fear. This fear and behavior intensifies the larger the dog is. And luckily this has never happened, but I'm always aware of the fact that this behavior could set off the other dog and there could be an all out dog fight. So now when I take my dog out, and I see dogs running loose, I have to take my dog to a completely different part of the neighborhood and just hope the dogs don't notice us. They are very sweet, friendly dogs. And they get along great with people and other dogs in the area.
