| Where you live, are you able to recylce? | | Recylcing has become second nature for me, no tossing waste paper in the garbage, plastic bottles, soda cans, cardboard, empty milk cartons --into the recycling bin you all go! I compost, too, but that's a topic for another post...Anyway, where you live, are you able to recycle? And if you are, do you do it? I live in Oregon and am always taken aback when I travel to other states that don't recycle. I have this urge to run over and grab plastic bottles and soda cans when people are nonchalantly throwing them in the trash, but then what can I do? Yes, imagine me traveling home with a bag filled to bursting with recyclable material; happy as that would make me, it's just not going to happen. Efforts are being made by more and more manufacturers these days to use recycled material in their products, whether it be paper, running tracks made from parts of ground up shoes, or Fleece Dog beds stuffed with recycled (broken down, in this case...) plastic bottles. Recycling's certainly not going to fix all our environmental problems, not my a long shot, but it can do a little bit to alleviate them! | |
| | I've had a good experience selling on ebay...... | | The first time I tried to sell on ebay it was a disaster. I tried to sell this silver necklace and I didn't get any response. After listing the necklace, I went to search for it, and I couldn't find the listing anywhere! This is all due to my ignorance. Since then I have sold many items with success. It all depends where you list the item, your photo is clear and shows details, and your written blurb is inviting and descriptive. I make and sell fleece dog blankets and I monogram the dogs name on them. Also for some strange reason ladies underwear/thongs sell pretty well on the auction site as well. I bought this lot of ladies underwear/thongs for $20.00 it contained 25 pairs of thongs all new. In a week I was sold out and I tripled my money! I'm just waiting for my next lot to arrive and I know that in a week I'll be sold out again. Have you had a good experience selling on ebay? Or even a bad one? Please share with us. | |
