| Do you know of any way to keep dogs from knocking over trashcans and getting in | | Ug! I really hate when people allow their dogs to roam without being on a leash. earlier I took the little trash out in the laundry room. It is a very small bag. No biggie, right? Well, I noticed a trash can knocked over. So, I picked it up. No biggie.About an hour later I heard my dogs go nuts in the boys room. So, I go see what they were barking about. I couldn't see anything. So, I go look out where the trashcans were. There was a big black and brown dog with his nose in the same trash can previously knocked. Plus two other trash cans. The dog did have tags. So, that dog does belong to someone around hear.I banged on the laundry room door really loud and hollered out for the dog to go home. It ran like there was no tomorrow. I didn't see which way it went. By time I open the door it was gone. So, I took the time to pick up the trash cans and place them on my deep freezer. Hahaha! I hope the dog can't get to them now.Do you know of any way to keep dogs from knocking over trashcans and getting in it?
I was told bleach. But I don't want to harn the animal either. But I will if I have no other choice. | |

altought i felt so sad zbout that, i could just put my heart in studing and said nothing.

| | Help! How do I keep dogs away from lawn? | | In the past 6 months, it has been decided that the southeast corner of my lawn is a neighborhood restroom area for any dogs going by. This area is quite large and I've been noticing a lot more people walking their dogs in our neighborhood that aren't from our neighborhood. Of course, the humans aren't carrying any bags with them that I can see and from the evidence left behind, they're either not carrying the bags or not using them.The area, like I said, is very large. Our backyard is fenced in but not all the way to the street. So not only are people letting their dogs defecate along our fence but also right in our front yard, where it isn't fenced in. Our own dog goes barking mad when the other dogs trespass on our property yet I still haven't been able to catch anyone "in the act". One day, I did discover a woman with an extremely large german shepherd at our backyard gate. She was letting her dog stick it's face into the crack of our gate. My own dog was going insane, barking like crazy and growling. I don't know what was wrong with this woman, because she continued to just stand there at my fence and let her dog stick it's nose into the space. I told her the gate... | |
