| My Landlord Forced Entry Into My Home This Morning | | Okay, a little back story - I've been having major disputes with my drug dealing neighbors. I have overlooked their one dog pooping all in my yard because she is not kept on a leash or in a fence - I have overlooked their other dog chasing after me-my kids-my brother and my mother. I have even overlooked those 2 minutes "stop and go" cars that appear all throughout the night....until one day when I apparently gave her a nasty look.She called the humane society on me - claiming that my dogs live in feces. I was checked out and even received "spot checks" from the humane society. I'm all in the clear. When she found out that they didn't do anything to me - (cuz I haven't done anything wrong)...she called my landlord and told him that I have feces all over the inside of my house. (which is funny since the woman has never been here since I moved in). Anyways, my boyfriend goes outside this morning to let the dog do his business. It's 9am Sunday morning. The landlord appears. Now, I am half asleep and half naked as well. | | I am very upset with my neighbor | | Our neighbor and his wife are in their early 70's and have a dog. They have had this dog since it was a puppy. Well this dog is old now and has an open sore on its body. Obviously its infected and they will not take this dog to the vet or get it any treatment. To me this is Cruel. Is there anything I can do? Should I get involved? I feel so bad for this dog. The woman lost her sense of smell, and when my husband goes into their house it stinks real bad because of the sore and this dog pooping on the carpet. Its just aweful my husband said. | What the hell is going on here? | | How the hell does this site work? I was screwing around when filling out something and now I get advertisements about no pooping signs and dogs pooping figurines from ebay. Not that it is bad or anything, I already bought one of the figurines. I mean, why not? I'll put it on a shelf and when someone picks it up to look at it, they'll ask what it is and I will, of course, tell them that they are hold a figurine of a dog pooping. | Shoveling Dog Poop at Daybreak | | bET Y'ALL DIDN'T START your day like i did. Some of u may recall i have had my sons dog's in my yard for about 6 months while they were having a house built.Yesterday he moved them to the new house,WOOHOO!!!! I certainly want miss my grand dogs i'll tell u & i'm sure my neighbors want eirher, They barked incessantly. | | composting dog waste | | My daughter's b/f has a compost bin, but she says he just throws whatever he wants in it. Since they are going to start a garden, she wanted to know what can be composted, so I told her what I compost and then proceeded to look for most info online..I found this site that has a long list of things you can compost, but what got my attention is a link at the bottom of this list about composting dog waste.[em]shocked[/em]I never heard of this, and was even told not to compost dog waste. But this isn't for your "garden compost", this is for those who live in the city where, "Garbage collectors don't want dog waste to go into the truck because it gets messy and the bags explode. The sewage people don't want it down the toilet because it has a lot of grit on it and mucks it up. So there's really nothing environmental that you can do."This got my attention, garbage bags explode if they have dog waste in them? Because that is what I do..Though I am not in the city, I hate to think that an exploding garbage bag is due to my throwing away my dog dirt..So I may consider this, since there are some spots in my yard where I can do this. | Online Dog Adoption Scams! | | How many times have I encountered scam pet adoption sites in the internet? Well a dozen times already. They say it's for free then starts charging ridiculously high adoption fees! Usually these people are from Africa ( I am not trying to discriminate anyone but this has been my personal experience and so with the emails). I am just so fed up wit these scammers. I just encountered one scam ad on our local online advertisement page and she posed to be a nun and dragging the name of the Lord into her monkey business. I told her to stop doing that and told her that I know it's a hoax.She stopped emailing me.Have you encountered this kind of scam before? What did you do? By the way I reported the issue to the site admin and have her banned. | |
