pump bottle for dog shampoos
How come you can't get dog shampoo in a pump bottle? Because think about it, most dogs, (at least the dogs I have) don't like baths. So you got one hand on the dog and need to put shampoo on them, what do you do? You remove your hand so you can pick up the bottle to pour the shampoo into your other hand..Guess what Fido is going to do now?? Yep, try to or even succeed in jumping out of the tub..I realize this is not a good set up. so when I bought my dog shampoo, I took an empty pump bottle and poured the dog shampoo in it..Now when I give my puppies a bath, I can get the shampoo with one hand while the other is keeping the dog from jumping out.Though it may be possible to get dog shampoo in a pump bottle, I can't get it around here.. So if you struggle trying to get shampoo on your dog, get an empty pump bottle and see how much easier it is..
Another dancing dog
http://www.tangle.com/view_video?viewkey=b8ecf5355cdd2da25a34Except this one is dancing for his food..It's funny because my puppies do the same thing, except I am trying to train them to stop and sit before I give them their food..Then again my puppies are double the size of this guy and can really cause damage dancing like this...There is a segment in this video where it looks like the dog is trying to take his food and hide..lol
I Don't Know How to Quiet my Dog
My dog, Chloe is a Japanese Spitz. My brother bought her from his officemate. Chloe was such a cute dog. When she was very little, she looked so fragile, meek and sweet. She doesn't used to bark. In fact whenever some friends come to our house, she gets scared so she hides wherever she can. She also trembles when somebody hold her high. When as she was growing up, she became a pain in the butt! She barks at every person who comes to our house. I don't know if she's jealous or what. She barks when someone knocks at the door. She barks when she phone rings or when she hears people talking outside the house.Chloe doesn't simply bark. She barks very loudly that she wakes me up in the morning. Her barks reverberates to the whole house and it is so embarrassing to the visitor. We cannot quiet her - nobody in the house can. We spank her but after a few seconds she goes back to her barking. I don't know what to do with her. She's cute when she's behave but as soon as she barks her bark - she gives me headache! Any help please?
Is it normal if you are more concern with your dog than to your.......
I had a girlfriend we always had a trouble almost everyday when I put more concern to my dog than to her. She is kinda jealous of my dog name ewok, is this guys normal? Am I wrong that I put more concern to my dog than to my woman?
Do you prefer an inside cat or an inside dog?
I have an inside cat and a outside dog. Which do you prefer to be inside with you?
How do you usually come up with your dog's names?
We just usually choose something random, like my dog now her name is daisy duke off of one of our all time favorite movies, are cat is named boe duke!
I think my dog has fleas
For those of you with dogs, what flea treatments have you tried? Our dog has been scratching a lot for the last few days and I feel bad for her. She looks so uncomfortable and miserable.Do flea colors work? What about pills? What about lotions? I was reading about frontline ( http://www.frontlinefordogs.org/ ) and I was wondering if that's worth trying.Should I take her to a vet? Is it contagious?Once I get this under control, what steps should I take to prevent it in the future? Thanks!
The WRONG dog poo???????
I've just read this story about a woman being issued with a fine for picking up the wrong poo. It seems her dog did what dogs do and she picked it up but was told that she'd picked up another dogs by mistake as she hadnt seen exactly where hers had been. She apparently picked up the "right" one aswell but still received the penalty notice! Needless to say, she appealed against ithttp://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/wear/8690370.stmDo you have a dog? Do you always pick up its poo when you're off your own property? Have you ever picked up the wrong one? (or been caught NOT picking it up) Were they right to issue the penalty notice or are they just 'jobsworths'?
What do you think- a Cat or Dog is better as a pet....?
Cats and Dogs have their own unique habits..... Its better to have a Dog if we want a long walk and to play with.... Cats are good pets if you want a pet that is easy to care for...... Anyway my question is "Do cats or Dogs make better pets"What do you think...........?
What breed is my dog?
My dog is called Pixie and will be 4 years old in August. We got her as a puppy but never saw her parents. We were told she was a Jack Russell terrier but we don't think she is, as we have had JRTs before and Pixie looks very different. She is about that size but is all white and her fur is thick, wiry and wavy. I will attach some pics and would be grateful to anyone who has any ideas.
